andrew james (10 days)…

the first photo on this post melts me…i was playing a bit with big sister kathryn while mommy was feeding baby andrew.  we were talking and i asked kathryn what her baby’s name was.  she shyly looked at me and said, “baby andrew” and then she slowly leaned down and kissed his head.  so very sweet…these are the moments i love to witness and even better, mom and dad did not know it was happening.  baby andrew was the most awake little newborn i have ever photographed.  he just did not want to go into dreamland.  and, when he did, he was not there for long so we worked quickly to catch a few shots of him sleeping.  he is a beautiful baby boy and has been brought into a wonderful family.  thank you john and jennifer…i am so excited to watch your sweet ones grow.  🙂

blessings to you and your families…

this has been an amazing year…i don’t know where the time has gone.  as i look back, i have so many wonderful memories in 2009.  i am incredibly blessed with my own sweet family, the most wonderful friends and the best job i could ever ask for.  it is all of the wonderful families i have worked with that make my work so fulfilling.  i truly love my job and it is the sweet little faces i get to see in my own house and at your homes that constantly keep me smiling.  thank you to all of my clients for giving me the opportunity to come into your homes and take photos for you.  i am honored to capture memories you will hold onto for a lifetime.  i hope you all have a blessed holiday with your families and i look so forward to seeing all of you and meeting many more wonderful new families in 2010.  ab

sweet loves…

these little girls belong to my dear friend and i don’t need to say much except that they are precious and sweet and beautiful.  and, i love being able to take photos of them because not only do i enjoy seeing morgan and stella, but i love having quality time with their mommy.  🙂  thanks, jess and kevin.  love.aefbgd

michaela and alex…

these beautiful little girls are very special to me…they live right next door to my parents in IA and are just simply the most wonderful family.  michaela is turning 4 soon and little miss alex is just three months.  i cannot believe how fast the time goes by…i feel like i just took her newborn photos.  she has already changed so much.  pat and jen, i LOVE taking photos of your very sweet family…thank you.  can’t wait to see you again when we are home.

quin & vincent…

we have had the most beautiful, warm weather here in MN so far this fall…and, this afternoon was no exception.  last week i met the very adorable quinlan and vincent…two of the cutest little boys i have ever laid my eyes on.  🙂  we took photos next to the perfect spot for little boys to play…a water fountain! they had so much fun and so did i.  it is not often that a 2 year old likes to give hugs and kisses to his one year old brother, but quin was thoroughly enjoying loving up on his baby brother.  it was very, very sweet.  the watermelon was the treat at the end of our fun session and it presented some of the cutest photos i have ever taken.  tom and rhonda…your family is lovely and it was so nice to meet you all…cbijgefd
