my grace & max…

it is not often that my own little ones cooperate for my camera.  🙂  as most photographers understand, it is hard to feel like you take good photos of your own kids.  but, today, my grace was all about the camera…granted, the fun only lasted about 3 minutes and ended with a classic grace face, but it was sure fun while it lasted.  🙂  and, i cannot forget my maxwell who was being silly with his feet up in the air.EN_ImageBorder_Horz2cb

cecilia, finn and little gus…

i took photos for this adorable family last summer and since i saw them last, they have a new addition…little gus.  all three are darling and have their own unique personalities.  i have such fond memories of our session last year…and it was so fun to see the kids again and see how much they have changed.   the kids enjoyed a few summer treats during our session this past week-end.  🙂  as all of us parents of young ones know…we sometimes have to do what it takes for cooperation!  i cannot get enough of the “real life” photographs.  they are priceless and the kind of memories that parents want to remember for a lifetime.  thank you chris and teresa…you family is perfect.  🙂

a little time off…

hello!  my blog has been quiet the last couple of weeks…i took a little time off to enjoy some quality time with my family, celebrate my little boy’s 2nd birthday and simply catch up!  🙂  it has been a successful two weeks of relaxation & business housekeeping and i am EXCITED and ready for the busy fall season!

i am now booking fall appointments and will be doing limited photography shoots this fall.  please book your sessions soon as spots are filling up quickly. (august is full).

my 2009 holiday card line is adorable!!  i love them and am excited for you to send them out to your friends and family!  yeah!

i will leave you with a few photos of my sweet little two year old maxwell.  i still cannot believe he is two…he is my main squeeze.  🙂maxmax2max3

three cheers for the red white and blue…happy 4th of july.

my little girl had her first dance recital a couple of weeks ago and i must say that my heart melted into a million pieces watching her up there on stage.  it was pretty darling watching 11, three year olds all do a different dance which really didn’t replicate the one they practiced for four straight months.  and, they were all so proud and that was the best part about it.  i could hardly contain myself and i know it was just one of a million proud mommy moments that i will have in my lifetime.  the beauty and innocence of a child is breathtaking.

the theme of her recital was “three cheers for the red white and blue” and i wanted to post a few recent photos of my own little family and some of their sweet little friends because i do not do that very often.  the 4th of july is a time to spend time with family and friends and also taking some time to celebrate our wonderful country. i wish you all a happy holiday with your families…take time to relax and take in every blessing that lies before you.abcdigfej

my baby max is 18 months

as all parents know, when you have a child, you often look back and wonder how time can go so fast.  when did my baby get so big?  i had to share a few photos from this past week-end of my smiling baby boy who is 18 months old today.  when i look at him, i smile.  he is precious in every way and a daily reminder of how blessed i am to have my max and grace.  parents, hold them tight, hug them big, kiss them often and cherish every moment small and big.  🙂
