i had a ball with this family… four children spanning from 11 years to 1 month. and, two parents who made it look easy!  our goal was to get some newborn photos, a one year photo of luke and some nice family photos.  it was a little crazy and so fun!  i was laughing the entire time at all of the funny things the kids mom had to say.  🙂  paige and mike…thank you so much. i am so glad we could make our session happen.  it was so nice to meet you all and i am very happy that i get to work with you!

these sweet little girls kept me on my toes.  🙂  they were full of energy and loved playing.  it is always so fun to meet new little friends and experience their unique and adorable personalities.  thank you, ann for the opportunity and a fun morning with your girls.  🙂

this was an extra special shoot for me…my good friend gwen, who you will see in these photos, took photos of my family earlier this fall.  she is also a photographer in the twin cities and a wonderful one i might add.  we decided this summer that it would be so wonderful to do a little photo shoot swap.  you would think that because we are photographers that we would have never ending supplies of photos of our children and families.   but, it is so hard mainly to “be in” any photos with our families.  so, this was my chance to allow gwen to leave her camera behind and allow her to be a mom and wife and not the photographer.  her family is so loving and sweet and we had so much fun.  i enjoyed every moment of our time together.  our day ended with little “b” presenting me with the most beautiful picture that she colored for me.  it made my afternoon…what a sweetheart.  when you see her, she will melt your heart. and, if you have a minute check out the photos gwen took of my family.

i cannot say thanks enough for giving me the lasting memories she gave us in these photographs…  thanks, gwen and mike…your family is just lovely.  a lot more photos to come.

here is another family that i hold dear to my heart.  🙂  and, i love taking photos for them.  except that our last visit was way too short…not enough time to catch up.  thanks, golberg family…love you all!
