this sweet, little mimi bird hopped into my life a few years back. when my little girl started talking, she called everything "mimi." she chirped "mimi" all the time. and, from that time on, we called her our little mimi bird. during this time, i was at a local boutique and stumbled upon the most fitting little piece of art. on the picture was a very sweet, chunky, little bird and the title was "mimi bird." i of course had to have it...it seemed as if it was made for us and still hangs in our home today. my very own little mimi bird, grace, who is my older baby, is the one who made me fall in love with the camera. and, it is this little bird that will be a constant reminder of the inspiration that makes me so very happy when taking photographs.
i heart my IA families. we decided to try something new this fall…i loved this setting…so much fun. thank you rochelle green from green door photography for sending us to this fabulous spot! you have seen these sweet girls before. i adore them and feel so lucky to photograph them every year.:)

six sweet faces, two separate families. one from minnesota and the other from washington dc. so beautiful that they can all be together and capture these special moments on camera…especially for the grandparents. i loved spending the evening with these kiddos…they all cooperated so well for the many photographs we took. thanks to you all…your children and families are so lovely.:)
