this sweet, little mimi bird hopped into my life a few years back. when my little girl started talking, she called everything "mimi." she chirped "mimi" all the time. and, from that time on, we called her our little mimi bird. during this time, i was at a local boutique and stumbled upon the most fitting little piece of art. on the picture was a very sweet, chunky, little bird and the title was "mimi bird." i of course had to have it...it seemed as if it was made for us and still hangs in our home today. my very own little mimi bird, grace, who is my older baby, is the one who made me fall in love with the camera. and, it is this little bird that will be a constant reminder of the inspiration that makes me so very happy when taking photographs.
six sweet faces, two separate families. one from minnesota and the other from washington dc. so beautiful that they can all be together and capture these special moments on camera…especially for the grandparents. i loved spending the evening with these kiddos…they all cooperated so well for the many photographs we took. thanks to you all…your children and families are so lovely.:)
what a gorgeous family this is…and, i loved spending the evening with them. ella, caleb and isaac, you were so so well behaved…just sweet joys to photograph. and, this was the most beautiful setting for our session…my dream outdoor studio.:) it was a lovely summer evening…warm, a small breeze and three sweet ones running in the field. love.
drew…you made me laugh non stop at our shoot. you are filled with lovely, adorable little boy energy! you moved non stop…and, i mean non stop. but, when you did decide to take a minute to breathe, it was to hug or kiss your mom or dad. how sweet are you? super duper sweet. grant and katie, it has been wonderful getting to know your family. you are beautiful inside and out.:) thank you…
these little guys have been making me smile for a year now. our watch me grow plan has come to an end (boooooo)….i will miss seeing them on a regular basis. little calvin…your flirty smile is priceless. and, wesley, i love chasing you! ha…you are always on the move and keep me on my toes! sean and marie, thank you for being so wonderful to work with. i heart the families i am privileged to work with.:)
meet sweet ben…the most adorable little boy who filled the cloudy, dark skies with beautiful light.:) and, i cannot forget his friend bunny who was equally as adorable. ben spent over an hour playing in the grass…mostly running away from me! ha! but, i fooled him and we managed to catch those beautiful brown eyes smiling! thank you, A family…we had such a nice morning. you will see below how much ben adores his mommy and daddy and i can see why…such a wonderful family you are. thank you for giving me the opportunity to photograph your sweet family…
