miss lyla, who just turned two, was as cute as can be…  as you can see, we had fun playing, and the best part was of course getting all wet.   this little girl brought the biggest smile to my face.  she was so sweet, full of wonder and always had the cutest little smile on her face.  i am so glad the weather finally cooperated for us…we waited a long time to for this perfect summer evening.  thank you bill and tiffany!  :)

i am in love with this first image…i think it reflects kellen so perfectly.  such a darling little guy.  i met him well over a year ago and he has gone from baby to little boy way too quickly.  his blue eyes sparkle with wonder and his new little hair ringlets caught the light so perfectly.  :)  as you know, i love little people feetsies so much so couldn’t resist showing how kellen was playing with his.  carrie and matt, i have loved getting to know you over the last year…i always looked so forward to our photo sessions!

i had the pleasure of meeting these adorable boys a few weeks back.  we had a beautiful, hot summer day for our session.  i loved our meeting place…a perfect spot for little boys to explore, climb and do what they normally do.  tanner and hunter were sweet, well mannered and gave me a smile without me even asking.  pure joy!  :)  traves and kelly, i loved visiting with you during our photo taking journey.  thank you for being so open to trying something new…i think it worked out well.  on a side note, check out kelly’s new engraved jewelry website…BEAUTIFUL! http://www.johnjamesjewelry.com/ kelly makes her jewelry by hand…she is so talented!

i love these shots…pretty, pretty mama with her boys…

the day was gloomy and storms loomed around us.  this didn’t seem to affect this little man…he never fails me.  each and every time i photograph him he shows me the most adorable smiles and faces.  and, it doesn’t matter if the day is dark, his beautiful, blue eyes sparkle with wonder and happiness. jacob was one of my very first clients two years back, and it makes me so happy that i still get to see him on his milestones.  the most rewarding part of my job is watching my little subjects grow.  thank you, j family…as always, i love seeing you all.
