this sweet, little mimi bird hopped into my life a few years back. when my little girl started talking, she called everything "mimi." she chirped "mimi" all the time. and, from that time on, we called her our little mimi bird. during this time, i was at a local boutique and stumbled upon the most fitting little piece of art. on the picture was a very sweet, chunky, little bird and the title was "mimi bird." i of course had to have it...it seemed as if it was made for us and still hangs in our home today. my very own little mimi bird, grace, who is my older baby, is the one who made me fall in love with the camera. and, it is this little bird that will be a constant reminder of the inspiration that makes me so very happy when taking photographs.
sweet isla…those big brown eyes of yours are going to get you into trouble one day:) you are sweet, sweet, sweet. it has been a joy to photograph you over the last year and getting to know your wonderful mommy and daddy. i will miss seeing you all every six months, but hope to see you again in the near future. until then, you keep smiling and growing big.:)
so nice to meet you sofia and louis…what darling, darling little peanuts you are. you are going to melt many hearts when you grow older.:) thank you for allowing me the opportunity to take your first photographs.
oh my…these little newphew’s of mine….:) i heart them. little beckham, you are growing so big. you and your brother seriously melt me. i love watching you both grow and am happy you are my nephews. i had a fun treat during this photo shoot. my sweet friend, andi from andi laine photography was up for the week-end from iowa and we played on our cameras together. make sure you check them out on her blog…her photos will be up soon. she is very talented. www.andilainephotography.com. enjoy your photos marc and maria…
little love isla catalina is now 6 months…she is very sweet and has the most beautiful eyes. oh, how i love her beautiful name. it was fun to see her adorable family again. thank you, alethea and matt.
little calvin is one of my precious baby plan babies…and, he is edible isn’t he? i photographed these two in june when calvin was just teeny tiny and at that point his big brother was not so sure about this new little baby that had arrived in his home. but, things are different now and he was loving everything about his baby brother. watching them interact was very sweet. i had so much fun last week with this adorable family. i am SO lucky to work with the best clients!:) thank you, mclean’s…more to come soon.
on a side note, this is one of my two new studio spaces that are available to my clients. i love them both and it has been wonderful in our dark, gloomy winter months. both spaces have beautiful natural light and offer a different alternative than taking photos at your home or outside!
