this sweet, little mimi bird hopped into my life a few years back. when my little girl started talking, she called everything "mimi." she chirped "mimi" all the time. and, from that time on, we called her our little mimi bird. during this time, i was at a local boutique and stumbled upon the most fitting little piece of art. on the picture was a very sweet, chunky, little bird and the title was "mimi bird." i of course had to have it...it seemed as if it was made for us and still hangs in our home today. my very own little mimi bird, grace, who is my older baby, is the one who made me fall in love with the camera. and, it is this little bird that will be a constant reminder of the inspiration that makes me so very happy when taking photographs.
this beautiful baby girl was born to the most loving, special family… i am confident that she will be a VERY determined little lady and this is important when you have three older brothers in your house. :) thank you, heidi…i loved SO much meeting sweet rowan and catching up. it never seems like time has ever passed. congratulations to you all…rowan is perfect.
sweet baby jackson was born on Easter…what a perfect gift from above. he was a an angel for our entire shoot. and, doesn’t he have the best head of hair. i LOVE his little head of hair. :) i had major baby fever from this beautiful baby boy. it was so nice to meet the S, family…thank you.
this special little guy arrived 10 weeks early and was only 3 pounds when he came into the world… at 4.5 months, little drew is still such a peanut. so sweet, so loved and such a miracle baby. i loved watching his mommy with him. complete adoration. one of the best parts of my job is seeing all the love that is shared within families. katie, it was so nice to meet you and your sweet drew. i can’t wait to see how much he has changed when we photograph him again…enjoy your peek.
i first photographed ava when she was 6 months. at that point, she was not sitting up yet, but practically crawling! she was a mover!!! and, nothing had changed since our last session! this little one year old was full of adorable energy. she thoroughly enjoyed jumping on her mom and dad’s bed. thank goodness we had the singing chicken to slow her down. :) and, she even showed us how old she is…super cute. rene, it was fun to come up to canada and visit you and ava! :) :) :) :)
