this sweet, little mimi bird hopped into my life a few years back. when my little girl started talking, she called everything "mimi." she chirped "mimi" all the time. and, from that time on, we called her our little mimi bird. during this time, i was at a local boutique and stumbled upon the most fitting little piece of art. on the picture was a very sweet, chunky, little bird and the title was "mimi bird." i of course had to have it...it seemed as if it was made for us and still hangs in our home today. my very own little mimi bird, grace, who is my older baby, is the one who made me fall in love with the camera. and, it is this little bird that will be a constant reminder of the inspiration that makes me so very happy when taking photographs.
grant is one of my very sweet baby plan babies…he has been a joy to take photos for…always so happy, with the most wonderful, sweet temperament. he just turned one and did not stop moving for over an hour…ALL boy! it has been a pleasure getting to know his parents and grandparents as well…such a wonderful family. thank you for the opportunity jeff and crystal. grant is a very special little guy. :)
it was so fun to meet the very kind ihle family this past week-end…little miss grace just turned 6 months and sat so pretty for me. isn’t she delicious? and, miss peyton and mr. william were very busy playing, but took a little time out to let me get a few shots of them! we had to do some serious sweet talking to get a photo of all three kiddos, but the smell of hotdogs cooking and popcorn popping was all it took. :) thank you kari and justin…your children are darling.
she is sweet…perfect tiny toes and little nose. and, the little noises she made were wonderful. i love everything about newborn sessions. there really is not anything that can compare to the perfection of a new life. and, i cannot forget maeve’s adorable big brothers. they had so much love to give her. so sweet. they will always be there to watch over her. thank you, karen…it was so nice to meet you all.
a friend of mine sent me this you tube video last night. i love it…it is a simple message and beautiful and so so true.
and, you will have tears all over your cheeks. as my friend said…take 7 quiet minutes to listen to this…it is a good one.
