this sweet, little mimi bird hopped into my life a few years back. when my little girl started talking, she called everything "mimi." she chirped "mimi" all the time. and, from that time on, we called her our little mimi bird. during this time, i was at a local boutique and stumbled upon the most fitting little piece of art. on the picture was a very sweet, chunky, little bird and the title was "mimi bird." i of course had to have it...it seemed as if it was made for us and still hangs in our home today. my very own little mimi bird, grace, who is my older baby, is the one who made me fall in love with the camera. and, it is this little bird that will be a constant reminder of the inspiration that makes me so very happy when taking photographs.

beautiful julia (10 days) is a sweet little angel.  we thought she might have a little tummy ache the day we took photos, but she still posed beautifully for us and put up with me moving her all around.  sweet baby girl…i loved meeting her mom and dad and enjoyed chatting so much.  :)  katie and adam, thank you so much.  julia is precious.bzzeadhz

sweet babies claire and benjamin were 7 weeks during their photos.  as i always say, parents of twins AMAZE me. once we got these two sleeping at the same time, my camera was on a mission.  and, as you will see in the last photo, i think little claire was even having fun!  ha!  :)  oh, and one hilarious memory from my shoot…grandpa was overseeing the picture taking and he had left the room for a minute.  when he came back in, we had switched babies and i was putting a bow on claire’s  head.  i looked over at him and he had the funniest look on his face.  later, he confessed that he thought it was ben that was still being photographed and he was a little confused as to why i was putting a bow in his grandson’s hair!  i love it!  :)  it was so fun to meet you all and i am excited to watch these two grow!
