this sweet, little mimi bird hopped into my life a few years back. when my little girl started talking, she called everything "mimi." she chirped "mimi" all the time. and, from that time on, we called her our little mimi bird. during this time, i was at a local boutique and stumbled upon the most fitting little piece of art. on the picture was a very sweet, chunky, little bird and the title was "mimi bird." i of course had to have it...it seemed as if it was made for us and still hangs in our home today. my very own little mimi bird, grace, who is my older baby, is the one who made me fall in love with the camera. and, it is this little bird that will be a constant reminder of the inspiration that makes me so very happy when taking photographs.

another precious little newborn…sweet shilo is 16 days old in these photos.  everything about him is beautiful…he has amazing little lips and eyelashes and this teeny, little curl in the front of his head that you can really see in the last photograph.  :) i asked his mommy if she curled his hair before i got there!  :) shilo wanted to be awake for quite a while and i could not get over how well he held his head up…he is one strong little guy.  i loved watching his mom and dad interact with him…they were so obviously in awe of their new little guy…i can sure see why…he is perfect.  heidi and kyle, thank you for allowing me the opportunity.  i look forward to watching shilo grow.abcdef

i cannot think of a time that i have photographed a happier baby girl….so, so happy and smilee and she just never stopped smiling.  :)  i wanted to squeeze her all over…all of her wonderful baby rolls were just delightful and her big, very blue eyes were stunning.  there really is nothing cuter than a baby who is filled with rolls. mmmmm…mmmmm…mmmm. and, she even smiled when i sang to her…that is just amazing since most babies would cry!  :)  she is  beautiful laura and jason…i already cannot wait for all the smiles that we will see when she turns 1!  nice to see you again!

oh, and a little information on the adorable little top in the 2nd photo…this was worn by savannah’s mommy and also her grandma…how special is that?  fbaechd

look at this little six month peanut…isn’t she so sweet?  she was on the move…i mean seriously…she had no desire to sit in one place for her photos.  :)  i think she might be walking by the time she is 8 months!  ha!  while we were at the park taking photos, we had a cute little family approach us with kids.  ava loved watching them and the families little ones were having a cute little conversation with ava.  it was so sweet and adorable to listen to… the family was so appreciative that they could stop and see this adorable little baby girl smile at them…ahhh, the simple pleasures in life.   ava’s mommy drove a ways to see me and i am so glad she did…thank you for making the trip, rene.  i am so happy to get to work with you in the future …it will be so fun to see ava grow.  aicdfeg

three pairs of very cute feetsies, which belong to three very cute, blondies…mom wanted a cute feet shot and i was happy to take it because i love feet…nothing cuter then little kiddo feet.  it was a beautiful morning and we had so much fun.  i love taking photos of children who are a little older…i don’t do this as often so it is sure a treat when i do. the conversations are so fun and innocent.  kids are so filled with knowledge and love sharing stories and things that excite them.  i love it.  conner was a pro and i am thinking must secretly be taking photos on a daily basis.  :)  he was a natural and was also such a great helper rounding up his younger brother and sister for me. and, his curls…wow. i think his mom and dad could be in trouble with those amazing curls.  OH, and i cannot forget lucky, the lizard…nick’s pet…i was so lucky to get to meet him!!  :).  thank you, stacey for allowing me a very fun filled morning with your adorable children.  it was a pleasure.

i am loving all the blog comments lately!!  keep them coming!  :)  let the kiddo’s parents know you stopped by to see their adorable kiddos.bcadicutekglfinal
