this sweet, little mimi bird hopped into my life a few years back. when my little girl started talking, she called everything "mimi." she chirped "mimi" all the time. and, from that time on, we called her our little mimi bird. during this time, i was at a local boutique and stumbled upon the most fitting little piece of art. on the picture was a very sweet, chunky, little bird and the title was "mimi bird." i of course had to have it...it seemed as if it was made for us and still hangs in our home today. my very own little mimi bird, grace, who is my older baby, is the one who made me fall in love with the camera. and, it is this little bird that will be a constant reminder of the inspiration that makes me so very happy when taking photographs.
little adrienne is almost 7 months and she was such a good baby girl for our photo session. i took newborn photos for adrienne and she had the most hair i had ever seen on a teeny newborn…and, as you can see she still has all of this amazing, beautiful hair! we had so much fun trying all kinds of little girly things on adrienne and didn’t seem to mind it at all. :) tracy, she is a doll…thank you. it was so great seeing you and your sweet little girl.
sweet kylie ray turns one this coming week so her mommy and daddy came to saint paul last week-end to have photos taken of this special milestone…and, beautiful, big sister kate came along too. these little girls are the daughters of my very dear friend, faith…she was my first college roommate at iowa state. we have a very special friendship that is such a blessing in my life. faith and steve…i had such a wonderful afternoon with your family and loved that our families could play for awhile too. kate and kylie are perfect little creations. :)
this is baby tyler…my nephew. all i can say is sweet, sweet, sweet. i am sure i said this last time i took his photos, but he has the most amazing blue eyes which are topped off with the most beautiful long lashes. he showed me all kinds of faces during his photos. and, as you will see, in the 2nd to last photo, he showed me how he really feels about the camera in his face. :) maria and marc…i loved seeing you all.
what darling children and what a wonderful family. this was such a special shoot. beautiful, little ava arrived home just weeks ago from korea. she has more than obviously been welcomed into a family of the most loving hearts…her mom and dad were so kind and her big brother sam is just so sweet and adores his little sister. and, i cannot forget grandpa ron! thank you so much, justin and allie…i am so happy that i was able to meet you all. you have the most beautiful family…i am so happy for you!
this is the adorable kathryn and she just turned one…she has the most beautiful eyes and kissable little lips. her face lights up when she smiles and her big, brown eyes melt you. watch out boys! :) i have photographed kathryn’s first year of life and it is a honor. john and jennifer…thank you for allowing me this opportunity. kathryn is perfect.
