thomas is one of my wonderful, little iowa clients… :) the last time i saw him, he was 6 months old. he has grown into a little boy and is so darling…his eyes….my oh my his eyes…and, i cannot forget the little brown curls. he was very, very busy doing all the things that little boys do. and, did not want to put down the snow shovel that was in the yard. actually, he got very angry when we tried to take away his snow shovel. i guess he was so sad to see the iowa snow go by by. we had a beautiful spring day with nothing but warm air and sun. thank you ann and chris for the opportunity to photograph thomas again.

i took my kids to iowa this past week-end to visit my parents. visiting iowa has become one of my little girls favorite things to do because of little Michaela who lives next door…she is the same age as grace and they really love each other. grace never stops talking about her when we return home and when i look at these photos i melt. they share a special little bond….even at age 3.5 they have found a real friendship. i hope they grow up together and know one another forever and ever.

ty was full of smiles and loved having his picture taken. this is my nephew and i am pretty proud. :) he could not be any cuter…

these two little boys are the sons of our dear, dear friends, theodore and natalie. :) they could not be any cuter…i do know this. i had a very hard time deciding which photographs to post, so i just decided to post quite a few. mason just turned 6 months and did not have too many smiles to give me, but his facial expressions are priceless and wonderful. jackson obviously loves his little brother and it was so cute watching him tell secrets to mason. nat and ted….thank you for allowing me to catch these special memories…

little aria is our new, very special little neighbor girl….she was a perfect little baby girl while i was taking pictures. mom and dad told me that she sure loves to sleep during the day, but not so much at night. :) congratulations P and J….aria is beautiful and i am so happy for you both! the nelson’s are so excited to see aria grow.
oh, and a little special fact about the chair in the last photo…it is a family heirloom which aria’s mom and grandma were both rocked to sleep in…pretty neat i think.
