this sweet, little mimi bird hopped into my life a few years back. when my little girl started talking, she called everything "mimi." she chirped "mimi" all the time. and, from that time on, we called her our little mimi bird. during this time, i was at a local boutique and stumbled upon the most fitting little piece of art. on the picture was a very sweet, chunky, little bird and the title was "mimi bird." i of course had to have it...it seemed as if it was made for us and still hangs in our home today. my very own little mimi bird, grace, who is my older baby, is the one who made me fall in love with the camera. and, it is this little bird that will be a constant reminder of the inspiration that makes me so very happy when taking photographs.
sweet little grant is is only 7 days old and decided to arrive a bit early for mom and dad. he was not so sleepy during his shoot and we had to have grandma come over with her magic touch to put grant into dreamland. he had such cute yawns and even a big smile for me! there is just something about these teeny babies when they are sleeping…so perfect, so innocent, so beautiful. congratulations jeff and crystal. :)
i had a very hard time deciding which photographs to post of little savannah. isn’t she an angel? so at peace while she is in dreamland. it sure took her awhile to go to sleep…she really wanted to stay awake for all the action, but finally….she slept and i think some of the moments we captured will be treasured by her mom and dad forever. thanks laura and jason…
what could be better then two, teeny little baby miracles? :) and, two GREAT parents to go along with them! mom really wanted an innocent little buns shot and yes, we got it and it is SOOOOO sweet. i just love this photo and what an adorable little memory of how tiny these little newborns body parts are! :) :) ryan and sam…i had so much fun meeting you and look so forward to seeing you all again in a few months!
little jude is almost 5 months old….i love photographing babies this age. he was PERFECT throughout the entire shoot. he was full of gummy smiles and his little laugh was addicting. he was simply adorable and i loved listening to his wonderful mommy talk to him the sweet way she did. these are the little things i love so much about my job. i am so happy i get to watch little jude grow…thank you, kristin and thom for a memorable session.
little grace had her first birthday and as you can see she loved the yummy cake. i have loved watching grace grow from a tiny newborn to a little girl with the sweetest smile! :) she has the most beautiful blue eyes that melt me! thank you alisa and dan for allowing me to be a part of grace’s special day! i hope little grace has many, many more happy, messy cake eating birthdays to come!
